Pioneers drop home game to Central Lyon

Okoboji’s baseball team saw a late lead slip away yet again in a home loss to Central Lyon on Friday, June 3. The Lions scored 11 runs in the final three innings of a 12-6 win over the Pioneers in Milford.

“This was a tale of two different games,” Okoboji coach Rory Marra said. “We were in control 6-1 in the fifth and then the game flipped and we just couldn’t stop their momentum.”
