Harris-Lake Park’s football team entered Friday night’s contest against West Bend-Mallard on a five-game win streak — including a thrilling two-point victory over 10th-ranked rival Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire on homecoming night last Friday — and with a chance to clinch at least a share of a second consecutive district championship.
However, the Wolves left West Bend a bit bewildered following a 48-6 drubbing at the hands of the Wolverines.
