SURVIVE AND ADVANCE: Spirit Lake earns come-from-behind victory over Cherokee in first round

 

Entering Friday night’s first-round playoff matchup with Cherokee, Spirit Lake head football coach Josh Bolluyt said his team needed a challenge. To that point, the Indians had dominated their last seven opponents by a combined score of 324 to 40.

They got all they could ask for while earning a come-from-behind 31-27 victory over the Braves on Friday, Oct. 25 in Spirit Lake.
