Spirit Lake’s volleyball team ended its season with a 3-0 home loss to Algona in the opening round of the Class 3A regional tournament held Tuesday, Oct. 22. The Bulldogs defeated the Indians 25-23, 25-10 and 25-20 in Spirit Lake.

Lauren Travis led the offense with nine kills. Leah Bolluyt and Anabel Sinz had six kills each. Anthea Leupold had five kills. Ellie Bolluyt dished out 16 assists and Faith DeWild had eight.
