Area girls and boys ages 9-14 participated in the 2025 Knights of Columbus district free throw championship Sunday, Jan. 16, and 11 earned the right to compete at the regional level.

Iowa Great Lakes Council 5043 in Spirit Lake and Paul Katzfey, EXIT Realty Midwest sponsored the local competition at the Bedell Family YMCA, drawing kids from Spirit Lake, Arnolds Park, Milford, Spencer and Sioux Rapids.
