Spirit Lake’s baseball team earned a nonconference road win over Alta-Aurelia on Friday, June 28. The Indians whooped the Warriors 9-5 in Alta.

The hosts scored five runs in the opening frame to take an early lead before Spirit Lake trimmed the deficit to one with a four-run second inning.

That score remained until the seventh inning, when Spirit Lake pushed five runs across to take a 9-5 lead that the Indians would not relinquish.
