The Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji boys soccer season came to a close Thursday, May 19 with a loss to Webster City in the opening round of the substate soccer tournament. The Lynx defeated SLP-O 3-2 at Siebens Fieldhouse on the campus of Buena Vista University in Storm Lake.

The two squads were knotted at 1-1 at the half, but the Lynx outscored SLP-O 2-1 in the second half to salt away the victory.
