Okoboji’s softball season ended with a lopsided loss to No. 6 Estherville Lincoln Central in the first round of the Class 3A regional tournament played Thursday, July 11. The Midgets mauled the Pioneers 14-0 in Estherville.

Okoboji’s Kaitlyn Kraninger took the loss. The freshman allowed nine runs (seven earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out one in one inning. Kristina Kraninger pitched an inning. The junior allowed five unearned runs on two hits.
