Okoboji’s softball team hung with fifth-ranked Estherville Lincoln Central to the bitter end, but the Pioneers’ offense was unable to take advantage of an unusually low-scoring contest with the Midgets in the opening round of the Class 3A regional tournament played Wednesday, July 6. The Midgets ended the Pioneers’ season with a 2-0 loss in Estherville.
