Okoboji football lets lead slip in loss to Dutch

 

After starting 2-0 for the first time since 2017, Okoboji’s football team entered Friday night’s home game with Siouxland Conference rival MOC-Floyd Valley brimming with confidence. That confidence allowed the Pioneers to open with a 14-7 halftime lead over the visitors, but the Dutch proved too much in the second half, outscoring the Pioneers 28-0 to earn a 35-14 win in Milford.
