Spirit Lake’s baseball team wasn’t perfect in its Class 2A quarterfinal contest against Emmetsburg on Tuesday, July 9, but the Indians — thanks in large part to a six-run fourth inning — were able to earn a convincing win over the E-Hawks to advance in the postseason. Spirit Lake topped Emmetsburg 10-3 in Estherville.
