A lot of the walleye action since the opener continues to be at night, and there are nice fish being caught. However, I’m not a good night walleye fisherman, so I have continued to drift and troll during the day on Big Spirit. For me, it’s been tough with only a fish here and there. The best bait has been a spottail shiner and plain hook with my biggest a 22-inch walleye.
