Spirit Lake had a solid showing in the 2022 volleyball season, securing back-to-back 20-win seasons and runner-up finishes in the Lakes Conference. This year’s Indians squad went 20-16 overall and 3-2 in the conference to finish behind conference champion Cherokee.

A late winning streak was key to Spirit Lake’s success. The Indians were 11-14 heading into the month of October before winning nine of their final 11 matches of the season to push their record above .500.
