Patricia Sieh passed away on April 28, 2024 at her home. A visitation for Patsi, age 93, born September 23, 1930, of Hastings, Minnesota, formerly of Spirit Lake, Iowa, will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday May 23. The location is Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings, Minnesota. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A burial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, at St. Margaret's Cemetery in Spirit Lake, Iowa, time to be determined.

Patsi was born on September 23, 1930, in Estherville. She grew up on a family farm near Spirit Lake. Patsi was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents Charles and Estella Sarazine, sister Dolores, and brother Charles. She is survived by her sister Amorita.
 
Patsi graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1948. She attended Clarke College in Dubuque, where she majored in art. On June 18, 1951, she married James Sieh. Patsi and Jim lived in Spirit Lake, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Lansing, Michigan, before moving to Hastings, Minnesota.
 
Patsi was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children James Sieh Jr., Cindy Ostrander, Kathy (Owen) Copeland, Frank Sieh, Rick (Karla) Sieh, Patrice (Charlie) Molitor, Tim (Cathy K.) Sieh, Angie (Curt) Bateman, Bob (Nancy) Sieh, Tom (Sandy) Sieh, Dave Sieh, Marty (Sarah) Sieh, 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
 
In addition to raising and caring for her family, Patsi volunteered for various clubs and organizations, such as Scouts, 4-H, and Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed time painting, sewing, traveling, bowling, and playing bridge. Her time at the family cottage on Spirit Lake with her family has always been her most precious time.
 
Though Patsi may no longer walk among us, her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire us all. May Patsi rest in peace.
