If there’s one thing that humans have consistently failed at since their dawning on the earth, it’s sorting out good from evil (see Adam and Eve – Genesis 3). Often when I’ve asked folks what it means to be a Christian the response comes in some form that depends on them doing good or remaining good by their own efforts. I’m reminded of a Taoist story about an old farmer.
