Memorial Mass for William "Bill" Boese, age 79, of Milford will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.

William John Boese, son of Burdette ”Buzz” William and Helen Mary (Trainer) Boese, was born in El Paso, Texas, on Aug. 3, 1944, where his father was stationed with the Army.

A mass of Christian burial for Tuttie Willison, 81, of Milford, was held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. Tuttie passed away April 30, 2024, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. Turner Jenness Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

The funeral service for Jason Tonsfeldt will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at Rosehill Church of rural Langford, South Dakota. Rev. Mike Honl will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Rosehill Church, concluding with a prayer service and a time to share at 7 p.m.

Norma “Peggy” Jean Egertson, 92, of Spirit Lake passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Aspire Care Center of Estherville in Estherville.

James Parke Caffrey, 59, of Boone, passed away in Pompano Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. A memorial service and burial in Linwood Park Cemetery are pending. James is survived by his brother Kelly (Marcy) McMullan of Polk City; brother, John Caffrey of Moingona; nephew Mike (Evan) McMullan of Norwalk; great-niece Marion McMullan; great-nephew Clark McMullan; and niece Mary (Topher) McMullan-Ewing.

Geneva Schultz Knudtson, 98, of Milford died on Monday, April 8 at Accura Healthcare of Milford.

Kieth Vernon Tadlock of Spirit Lake passed away on Wednesday Dec. 13, 2023, at the age of 98. He was a resident of Keelson Harbor Senior Living located in Spirit Lake. Kieth was born to Donovan and Hilda (Blank) Tadlock on Feb. 14, 1925, in Rosalie, Nebraska. Kieth was the third of four brothers, Guy, Kenneth and Robert Tadlock. The family moved from Rosalie to Ashland, Nebraska in 1938 where Kieth graduated from high school in 1942.

A memorial service for Elsie Mae Wetzeler, age 96, of Spirit Lake, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 27, 2024, at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Spirit Lake.

Feb. 2, 1952 - April 8, 2024

Patrick William Lyons was born Feb. 2, 1952, to Virgil and Charlotte (Parks) Lyons of rural Boone. He graduated from Boone High School in 1970 and worked for Sandler Built Homes in Boone until enlisting in the Air Force in 1972. During his four years in the Air Force as a radar technician, he was stationed at Baudette Air Force Station in Minnesota and Tempelhof Central Airport in West Berlin, Germany.
