Robert “Bob” Henry Boettcher, 100, of Spirit Lake passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Accura Healthcare of Spirit Lake.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Glennys Noakes will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Glennys passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024 at her home. Turner Jenness Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Grant Gilmore, age 77 of Lake Park, will be Saturday, June 8th at the Lake Park Community Center in Lake Park, 4 - 6 pm. Grant passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Lake Park. Turner Jenness Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The funeral for Ronald Menough, 81 of Spirit Lake, was held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake. Interment was at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery. Ron passed away May 27, 2024. Turner Jenness Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A funeral service for Ed Goehring, age 91, of Milford will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. “Hank” Don Henry Miguel - artist, athlete, entrepreneur, storyteller, sailor, carpenter, chef, mentor, father, brother, husband, grandfather - died May 22, 2024 at his home. A private family burial was held at the Okoboji Cemetery in Arnolds Park on May 25.

A funeral service for Don VonEhwegen, age 92 of Terril,was held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.

Donald Eugene VonEhwegen was born at home on March 22, 1932 in Sac County to Reinhardt and Bessie (Bogue) VonEhwegen. Don passed away on May 28, 2024 at Lakeside Lutheran Nursing Home in Emmetsburg, at the age of 92.

A service for Ethel Johnson, 86, of Milford, formerly of Terril, was held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at United Methodist Church in Terril. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Terril. Ethel passed away Friday, May 24, 2024. Turner Jenness Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A funeral service for Roberta “Bobbie Lea” (Travis) Holden, 84, of Spirit Lake will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Services for Sheila Schmitz, 58 of Spirit Lake, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 24  at St. Mary's Catholic Church. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 23 5-7 p.m. with Parish Scripture Service at 5 o’clock at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Sheila passed away May 17, 2024.
