Dale passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2022, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A graveside service for Martha Gadd, age 88, of Spirit Lake was held Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Spirit Lake.

Martha Ann Gadd was born Aug. 2, 1934, in Hartley, the daughter of August and Anna (Ruby) Ronge. She was raised and educated in Hartley and graduated from Hartley High School.

A graveside service for Carl Wohlenberg, age 96, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a summer resident of Okoboji, was held on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, at the Ida Grove Cemetery. A Celebration of Carl’s life will be held in the summer of 2023.

A memorial service for Delmar Phillips, age 82, will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5 Crosswinds Church in Spirit Lake.

Delmar passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at Lakes Regional Hospital Hospice surrounded by family in prayer.

Delmar Eugene Phillips, the son of Clifford and Melvina (Fogle) Phillips, was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Spirit Lake. He was a lifelong resident of Spirit Lake.

Harold George “Harry” Lundberg, age 81, formerly of Fridley, Minnesota passed away Oct. 24, 2022, at Saint Therese of New Hope, Minnesota.

A celebration of Harold’s life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at St. Philips Lutheran Church in Fridley, where he was a member for 58 years.

Joanne “Pinkee” Chain Lauridsen passed away on Oct. 21, at the age of 58 after a multi-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Robert “Bob” Burley, age 83, of Spirit Lake passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley.

A service will be held at a later date for Todd Booge, age 60, of Wahpeton.

Todd Michael Booge, the son of Alan and Mary Ann Booge, was born on June 14, 1962, in Fort Dodge. Growing up, Todd attended school and graduated from North High School.

Later, Todd continued his education at West Texas State and eventually University of Omaha. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration.

A memorial service for Ronald Newgard, age 80, was held Wednesday, Oct.12, 2022, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.

Don and Leota (Babe) Newgard were blessed with a baby boy on Sept. 11, 1942, Ronald Omer Newgard. They took him home to the North Shore of Pickerel Lake. Ron received his education at Webb School and graduated in 1961. The next year, he joined the National Guard.
