A visitation for Beth Lynn Heide, age 55, of Spirit Lake was held Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. A celebration of life gathering will be held in the summer of 2023. Beth passed away on Jan. 24, at her home in Spirit Lake.

A funeral service for Bruce Wayne Hanson, age 67, of rural Jackson, Minnesota, was held Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at Crosswinds Church in Spirit Lake.

Meridith Elizabeth Graham, cherished and beloved daughter of Sterling and Stephenie, and sister of Benjamin Graham suddenly passed at 30 years of age on Jan. 11, 2023.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and brother, Joseph Ludwig, in Schertz, Texas, on Jan. 21, 2023. Joe was born on Dec. 12, 1952, in West Union to Catharyne and Virgil Ludwig.

John Junior Isder the son of John and Katie (Kielman) Isder was born June 18, 1933, at home in Swan Lake Township. He died on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at the Accura Care Center in Spirit Lake at the age of 89. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

John received his education at Maple Hill School. John served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

A funeral service for Margaret "Peggy" Gunderson, age 81, of Lake Park, was held Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Lake Park. Interment was at Silver Lake Cemetery in Lake Park. 

Aug. 12, 1928 – Jan. 18, 2023

Arlan Jean Bargloff, age 94, passed away on Jan. 18, 2023. Arlan was born Aug. 12, 1928, in Greenville to Clarence and Alberta (Firebaugh) Bargloff. He received his education in Sioux Rapids and Greenville, where he graduated in 1946. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Alaska for four of his six years. After the service he continued his education at Iowa State University.

A memorial service for Byron Thelen, age 85, of Milford was held Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. Inurnment will be in the Milford Cemetery at a later date.

Byron Carl Thelen, the son of Carl and Ardyce (Waterman) Thelen, was born on Jan. 30, 1937, in Milford. Growing up, Byron attended school and earned his high school diploma at Milford Community School.

A celebration of life service for Anne Bradham-Jackson, age 71, of Spirit Lake will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Good News Community Church in Okoboji.

Visitation will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Good News Community Church in Okoboji.

A celebration of life service for Evelyn Gray, age 72, of Spirit Lake was held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Spirit Life Fellowship in Spirit Lake. 

A memorial fund has been established to benefit Evelyn's favorite charities.

The visitation for Marian Brunsvold will be held from 4-7 p.m., Friday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at the Estherville Lutheran Church. Marian will be put to rest in the Estherville Lutheran Cemetery.
