Noreen Rust died peacefully in her sleep during the night of Saturday, Jan. 21/Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023. She died in her room at Briarwood Health Care Center in Iowa City, after a day during which she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren, songs, storytelling and fond remembrances.

Pat Baumgarn, wife of Lowell Baumgarn, of rural Round Lake, Minnesota, passed away May 8, 2023, at the age of 75. Private family services were held.

Patricia Ann Baumgarn, affectionately known as Pat, was born on Aug. 26, 1947, to Thelma and Alfred McNab in Worthington, Minnesota. She spent her formative years in Rushmore and Worthington, cultivating the values and qualities that would shape her remarkable life.

Von R. Kilts, age 77, of Primghar, who passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon. His funeral service were held Wednesday, April 26 at the United Church of Primghar with Pastor Mike Cooper officiating.

Burial took place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar.

A memorial service for Max Sheley, age 75, of Milford will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the church.

Max passed away on April 27, 2023, at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Bryan Fibelstad announces his passing.

Paul, at the age of 85, passed away at the Accura Nursing Home on April 27, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 22, 1938, to Margaret and Vernon Fibelstad of Joice.

Paul graduated from Joice High School in 1955 and then went on to attend the University of Iowa.
