Dean Archie Dodds, a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather, passed away on June 6, 2023.

Duane Marlen Heerdt passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the age of 90 in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was born Sept. 1, 1932, in Burt to Leonard George Heerdt and Katherine “Marie” Madsen Heerdt. Marlen was the oldest of three sons, followed by Donald and Russell.  He grew up on a farm in Ringsted and attended school there, graduating at the age of 16.

Harry "Russ" Winkleblack passed away of natural causes on May 26,2023, in Apache Junction Health Center.

Russ was a longtime resident of the Emmetsburg and the Lakes Area and, after retiring from the John Deere implement business, he relocated to Mesa, Arizona.

Funeral Services for Raymond and Arlene Jaycox will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at the United Methodist Church in Lake Park. Visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Lake Park. Interment will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery in Lake Park. Memorials may be sent to Lake Park United Methodist Church.

Kathleen Kay Hardman, age 78, of Milford was born April 20, 1944, and went to be with Jesus on Nov. 16, 2022. Kathleen loved life and always shared a smile, an encouraging word and a hug when someone needed it. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness.

Joyce Colvin Grim, age 97 of Spirit Lake died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Northshire in Spencer.

A celebration of life for Joyce will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Dickinson County Nature Center. The celebration will be a come-and-go event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. at the Milford Cemetery up on the hill.

A celebration of life service for Earl Baish, age 91, of Milford and formerly of Lake Park, was held Friday, May 26, 2023, at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. Interment was at Harrison Township Cemetery near May City.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Melvin American Legion Post 470 or the Milford American Legion Post 384 in Earl’s name.
