Susan Sundlin passed away at home on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred (Percival) Bibow, her sister Mary Ellen McDonald, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.

A funeral service for Roger Jones, age 89, of Okoboji, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Lakeview Gardens in Spirit Lake.

Sandra Austin, age 79, of Spirit Lake passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg.

Beverly Pearson, age 96, of Des Moines and formerly of Spencer died Monday, March 20, 2023 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Pastor Deb Mechler is expected to officiate, and burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. A Mass of Christian Burial for Durick "Dirk" Hansen, age 81, of West Okoboji was held March 18, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Milford at a later date.

A memorial service for Dale Luehring, age 91, of Terril, was held Monday, March 20, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Terril.

Roger Lee Kloster of Jackson, Minnesota, at the young age of 82, went to the Lord on Feb. 10, 2023. Roger had been diagnosed with dementia with mid-stages of Alzheimers in the fall of 2021 and passed away from the disease at Generations Memory Care in Mankato, Minnesota.

James “Jim” Spieker, age 76, of Spencer passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Longhouse Northshire Nursing Home in Spencer.

A memorial service for Harold Nelsen, age 81, of Lake Park, was held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at United Methodist Church in Lake Park. Burial was at Silver Lake Cemetery.

Harold Eugene Nelsen, the son of Marvin and Lillie (Christensen) Nelsen, was born Dec. 16, 1941, on the family farm in Ruthven. After completing high school, he received manager training through Farmland.
