Kathryn “Katie” (Holzhauer) McClurg, 60, died on Dec. 12, 2024, while at the family farm with loved ones.

David Lynn Thompson, 76, of Round Lake, Minn. passed away on Nov. 22, 2024, in Spirit Lake, surrounded by family and friends.  Born Nov. 3, 1948, to Frank Joseph and Lorraine Emma Louise (Reiners) Thompson, he was the youngest of three children.

R. Smith Schuneman, a distinguished educator and entrepreneur passed away Nov. 24, 2024, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. He was 88 years old.
