Mary Alice Connor, age 83, of Savage, MN, passed away suddenly on Aug. 18, 2024, at her home.
A visitation was held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation time from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 16400 Duluth Ave SE, Prior Lake, MN. Father Thomas Walker presided.

Mary Alice will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Mary Alice (Lindbeck) Connor was born on Aug. 4, 1941, in St. Paul to John W. Lindbeck and Alice “Babe” A. (Housten) Lindbeck. Mary Alice attended high school in White Bear and college at Mankato State where she studied Spanish and met her husband, Richard (Dick) Connor. Mary Alice started several companies over the years and ended her professional career owning and operating a Miracle-Ear franchise with her son Rick.
Growing up she loved to twirl her baton and make her younger brother dance with her. She was a majorette in high school and college. While living in Bloomington she taught fire baton lessons in her front yard. She was dedicated to her family and community service. She volunteered for all of her children’s activities, served on the City of Bloomington Planning Commission and was an active member of the Jaycee Women. Mary Alice loved spending time with her family and her best friends the “Ya-Yas”. Mary Alice was smart, loving, strong, stylish and supportive. She will be missed dearly.
Mary Alice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dick Connor; three children, Rick (Kathy) Connor, Shannon (Bob) Schultz, and Mali (Toney) Minter; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother Tom; and other loving family and friends.
Mary Alice is preceded in death by grandson, Ricky Connor; and her parents.
