A Memorial Service for Judith Murtagh Thoreson, age 88, of Okoboji, formerly of Algona, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the United Church of Christ in Algona.

A reception with the family present will be held following the service at the UCC Fellowship Hall.

A Celebration of Life for Judy will be held in the Iowa Great Lakes in June of 2024.

Judy passed away peacefully on Oct. 11, 2023, surrounded by her children.
