Tom Edward Albin, of Spirit Lake and formally of Elk Point, South Dakota, passed away at the age of 76 on Sunday Dec. 17, 2023, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 at Kober Funeral Home in Elk Point, South Dakota. Burial of Ashes will be at Alsburg Cemetery after the service with Military rites.

A graveside service for Verne Stinehart of Spencer will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.

Luverne Dale Stinehart was born on Oct. 1, 1935, in Milford to Roland and Gladys (Morgan) Stinehart. Verne passed away on Jan. 2, 2024, at Spencer Hospital at 88 years of age.

With heavy hearts, the family of 44-year-old Heidi Brittain share news of her passing. A visitation for Heidi will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake with service to follow at 4 p.m. A celebration of life for Heidi will be held in June of 2024. Jerry Wittrock of Ubana, Missouri, passed away on Dec. 25, 2023, in Fort Madison, Iowa, peacefully in his sleep at the home of a daughter.

He was born and raised in Milford, helping his family farm. After graduation, he spent two years in the Army and then married and raised five children on a farm in Spirit Lake.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mike Willison, age 72, of Milford will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will take place from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at the Majestic Pavilion in Arnolds Park.

Jerry Gene Turner, son of Cecil and Clara (Steele) Turner, was born on Oct. 2, 1940, in Bauxite, Arkansas. He passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2023, at the age of 83, at Accura Healthcare in Spirit Lake.

A funeral service for Marilyn Reno, age 79, of Spirit Lake will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Terril. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
