Area artists exhibit work during annual 'Road Trip'

A number of northwest Iowa artists welcomed the public as they displayed their work Saturday during the annual Artisans Road Trip. Many of the participating artists used gallery space in the Pearson Lakes Art Center to display their creative craftsmanship. Others chose to invited the public to their home galleries or other area businesses to view their work and discuss their artistic processes. The full footprint of the 2023 Artisans Road Trip stretched from as far a Lake Park and Spirit Lake through areas like Spencer and Linn Grove to Storm Lake. The three-county event was held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. (Photos by Seth Boyes)
