Open Jackpot Barrel Race 2023

Competitors raced for the fastest times Saturday afternoon during the Dickinson County Fair's Open Jackpot Barrel Race. Riders competed in several divisions that day as their steeds hurtled across the fairground's outdoor arena and quickly circled the three barrels before speeding back toward the gate. A number of young riders were able to take part in the peewee division as the races began Saturday, and more experienced riders hopped into the saddle as the event progressed. (Photos by Seth Boyes)
