Santa's Village makes for Saturday spectacle

The region received a hefty helping of snow just days ahead of the annual Santa's Village festivities in Spirit Lake. The Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce's yearly celebration welcomed visitors as they strolled the downtown sidewalks and visited numerous local businesses. Youngsters enjoyed seasonally themed crafts, sweets, scavenger hunts, games and even photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Chamber officials said business participation in Santa's Village continues to grow, as several new businesses participated this year alongside some staple downtown locations. (Photos by Seth Boyes)
