Lake Park Farmers Appreciation Days 2022
Organizers at this year's Lake Park Farmers Appreciation Days had to be a bit more flexible with the event schedule as storm clouds yielded some intermittent downpours Saturday. The rain stunted some of the early morning events, but skies cleared long enough to allow the weekend's staple parade to go off without a hitch. Inflatables, food and other fun was waiting for the young and old in city park following the parade, but another wave of heavy rain sent many running for the nearest shelter — be it a vehicle, awning or tree. The clouds parted again, and the Lake Park Fire Department was able to host its fundraiser meal while fun resumed at city park. And yet another rainfall rinsed off some of the competitors in the co-ed mud volleyball tournament — at least a little. (Photos by Seth Boyes)
