A total of eight band Spirit Lake students were selected to participate in the Strong Foundations Middle School Honor Band Festival.  Student recommendations were submitted in October and, from those nominations, 200 students were chosen for participation in two separate bands. The selected students performed a concert at Sioux City North High School on Monday, Jan.
