William Grant Hawn, age 38, of Spirit Lake was charged with violation of a no contact order at approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 in the 25000 block of 165th Street in Spirit Lake. A criminal complaint said he was present at the residence, which matched Hawn's listed address, when the protected party came home. He was later charged with operating while intoxicated — second offense — and open container at approximately 5:35 p.m. Thursday, Oct.
