Tyler Matthew Cook, age 27, of Spirit Lake was charged with possession of a controlled substance — second offense — at approximately 6:49 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 in the 2300 block of Highway 71 in Spirit Lake, and he was booked into the Dickinson County Jail at 7:39 p.m. the same day. A criminal complaint said Cook was in possession of methamphetamine and had previously been convicted on Oct. 2, 2019, of possessing a controlled substance.
