Manufacturing is big business in northwest Iowa. In fact, the manufacturing sector accounts for 14.9 percent of the total employment in the region. That is more than double the national percentage.

October is National Manufacturing month, and officials with Rosenboom — one of the largest manufacturing companies in the area — expressed excitement for the focus on manufacturing and career opportunities the industry presents.
