Okoboji High School has been recognized with several awards and honors for their November production of “Peter Pan.” Directed by Zane Knudtson and Jo Gehrke, “Peter Pan” was part of the 2023 Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards — a year-long, signature education initiative of Des Moines Performing Arts. The high school's production itself was awarded honors for Outstanding Outstanding Overall Performance and received special recognition for its ensemble and student orchestra.
