The Okoboji High School Band traveled to Minneapolis on Friday, March 25. The band met with the University of Minnesota’s symphonic band conductor, Dr. Jerry Luckhardt, heard the university's band perform and participated in an hour-long clinic as well as a tour of the marching band facility and football field. The band then loaded up and headed to the Target Center where they performed a 30 minute set before the Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Dallas Mavericks.
