Local museum curator killed in Dallas County crash

A Dallas county collision last week claimed the life of 75-year-old Larry Don Adams of Boone, who was the curator of the Higgins Museum of National Bank Notes in Okoboji.

"Larry was a caring person who devoted his life to preserving history," the Boone County Historical Society said in a social media post following the fatal crash. "He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Boone County's history and was willing to share it with anyone who asked."
