American Legion Auxiliary Unit 371 of Lake Park, recognized National Education Week. Unit 371 Secretary Marilyn Kessler presented Kayla Shaw, a third-grade teacher at Harris-Lake Park Consolidated School District, with apples for the teachers and staff in recognition and appreciation of those teachers and staff who have chosen education as their profession and who help the young minds of their students acquire the knowledge needed to benefit them for the balance of their lives.
