Buena Vista University recognized 52 students during its annual Senior Recognition Celebration this spring. The event honors students for their academic excellence, civic engagement and leadership.

Kiaya Pernick of Milford, a senior majoring in psychology as well as criminology and criminal justice, was honored with the Wendy Waugaman Women and Leadership Award for her interest in leadership development at Buena Vista University.
