Kardell claims contact not inappropriate, agrees evidence could support violation

A document, from the Board of Educational Examiners of the State of Iowa, stamped Nov. 21, 2022, announced a settlement involving former Spencer High School music department educator Katie Kardell and an allegation of inappropriate behavior involving a former student. She has not worked in the district since her resignation in 2021.
