The body of Gilman Cooper, age 27 of Omaha, Nebraska, was discovered by fishermen in Smith's Bay of West Lake Okoboji at approximately 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. Cooper was reported missing earlier that day, after being separated from his group.

The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office is working with Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police to investigate the drowning. As of now, now foul play is suspected, and the incident remains under investigation.
