The Dickinson County Nature Center recently announced the renaming of its lower level in honor of Barbara Tagami (1947-2022), a former naturalist for Dickinson County Conservation.

Tagami was a passionate advocate for nature and the environment for more than 40 years. She had served as a member of the Conservation Foundation of Dickinson County for 15 years and was instrumental in the development and expansion of the Dickinson County Nature Center in Kenue Park.
