In just a matter of weeks, the eighth annual Okoboji Blue Water Festival will take place at Preservation Plaza on the shores of West Lake Okoboji. Co-organizer Greg Drees said he and others have finalized the day-long activities for the Aug. 12 festival, and they've added a State/Local Clean Water Panel Discussion, which he feels will be an exciting educational opportunity. The panel discussion will run from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. under the Big Tent.
