The Avera Lakes Regional Healthcare Volunteers Auxiliary will be awarding four $500 Judd grants to students pursuing a nursing career.

Clarence Judd, a longtime resident of the Lakes Region, bequeathed money to the LRH volunteers with a stipulation that the money be used to provide grants for prospective nurses.

Judd grant recipients are selected by a random drawing with preference given to full-time students.
