Indians 1-1 in home tournament

Spirit Lake softball beat the heat during a home tournament on Saturday, defeating MMCRU 11-2 in five innings and falling to Kingsley-Pierson 11-5 in eight innings. 
The Indians secured their fourth consecutive win with 13 hits against the Royals, jumping ahead immediately with four runs scored off three hits. MMCRU got two runs on the board with two outs over their heads before Addie Munson threw out a runner at home plate.
