Harris-Lake Park senior Ethan Harper took a grounded approach to clear the high bar at the Class 1A high jump at the 2025 state track and field championships Friday, May 23. He placed 21st out of 24 competitors as the Wolves’ sole representative at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
“Getting to state was definitely my main goal this season,” Harper said. “The experience was way different than I imagined, but overall it was a great experience and a great way to finish my senior year.”
