Charles (Chuck) E. Krumme

Charles Krumme, age 89, born in Arapahoe, Nebraska to Charles James and Margaret (Aronson) Krumme, is now deceased. He moved to Red Oak where he grew up and graduated from Red Oak High School.

He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Peru State College, a Master’s Degree and Administrative Certification from UNO. He was a teacher, counselor and principal for the Omaha Public Schools for 37 years having served at Horace Mann Jr. High, Lothrop, Ashland Park and Bancroft.

Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Krumme. He is survived by two children, Dave (Lisa) Krumme and Jodie (Jeff) Lenser, two granddaughters, Emily and Madison Lenser, and sister, Carole Rezac.

Chuck was a member and past president of the Omaha Schools Administrator’s Organization, the Retired Educators Organization, Phi Delta Kappa and past president of the Omaha Area Peru Alumni Association.

After retirement, Chuck enjoyed spending time in both Omaha and Lake Okoboji. Of the many hats he wore, he was most proud of being an amazing grandpa to Emily and Maddie. Memorials may be directed to Presbyterian Church of the Cross or Peru State College.

Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at Roeder Mortuary. Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Presbyterian Church of the Cross 1517 S. 114th St. Omaha, Nebraska.
