Okoboji boys track and field sent seven events to the prestigious Drake Relays in Des Moines over the weekend, putting together some memorable performances to prepare the Pioneers for the upcoming postseason. 
“It’s one of the best days of the year for sure,” senior Trigg Heimdal said. “you get to compete against all the biggest schools in the state on the biggest stage, watch professional and college athletes compete. Best of all, you get to do it with your teammates.”
