A new music scholarship was recently established by the Mid-America Music Association (MAMA) to honor students enrolled in the music program at Iowa Lakes Community College. A fundraising dance was held last fall with scholarship money raised, making this an annual event. MAMA board members Carolyn and John Walz award the first Iowa Lakes recipient, Martin Eckard, with the newly established Mid-America Music Association Scholarship.
