Indians avenge earlier loss, storm past Tornadoes

Spirit Lake boys coach Dr. David Smith said the sixth-ranked (3A) Indians' 70-64 loss to Storm Lake on Jan. 13 was probably their worst loss of the season, saying "it was only a six-point game, but it felt worse than that."
On Tuesday night, the Indians exacted a bit of revenge, handling the Tornadoes from start to finish to win a 75-59 game in front of the Spirit Lake faithful.
